Launching in 2017, Unitron's Tempus range features the basic Tempus 500 right through to the technologically advanced and premium Tempus Pro.  The lower levels of this Unitron range still offer great performance, with affordability, and are also rechargeable.  They allow you to experience a quality of hearing that is designed for quiet environments.  If your lifestyle often finds you more active and within louder environments, then this level is not the right option for you.  

Main Differences Between Tempus 500 & Tempus Pro

• The Tempus 500 only has the ability to process and focus on 6 different sounds at once.  The Tempus Pro has 20 channels, which enables you to tackle more challenging hearing environments.
• The Pro level boasts the SoundNav feature, which is absent from the 500, as it uses the AutoMic - a much older form of this technology.
• There is no Spatial Awareness program in the Tempus 500, which means that understanding where a sound is coming from can be extremely difficult.
• Speech Pro is also missing from the entry level of this range.  Therefore, directionality and clarity of sound is not as successful in this model.
