DISCONTINUED HEARING AID
| Update: This hearing aid range has now been discontinued. Please view new Unitron hearing aids here
The Unitron North is the name of the legacy range from back in 2015. They have been superseded several times over now, by more advanced Unitron models. Still available at time of writing (Sept 2019), but mainly for people who had a pair and have lost one and need to replace it. Due to advances in technology, there is no reason we can see to buy this product anymore.
The information below is from back when they were launched and is left here for historic value only.
Unitron’s North range is highly successful for those who require optimum hearing in single conversation, without excessive background noise, and also for TV viewing. The Pro option in this family includes SoundNav technology to continually check your environment. It uses this data to change how it processes background sounds within said environment. This all depends on noise levels and the type of noise in the atmosphere you are within.
Hearing better with North Pro has never been easier, in a noisy atmosphere, due to the Binaural spatial processing, Multiband Adaptive Directionality and Speechzone 2 technology. This allows the hearing aids to work together, through wireless communication, to produce focus on the most relevant speech sounds. Whereas, the Pinna Effect technology collects, and channels sounds with the shape of your ear.
