Starkey has had a busy couple of years, and 2026 brings the most significant change yet: the launch of Omega AI Plus, Starkey’s new flagship, in October, following G Series AI, a new accessible mid-range platform, earlier in the year. Below, we break down what’s new across Starkey’s current ranges and what’s changed since their last major launch.

Starkey Omega AI Plus hearing aids - the latest launch

The Starkey Omega AI Plus range is Starkey’s newest flagship. Launched in October 2026, it replaces Omega AI at the top of the Starkey range. It’s built on the new G4 Gen AI Neuro Processor, and Starkey states that its neural network processing (a type of AI trained on huge amounts of sound) sits directly on the main chip.

The headline new feature is the DNN Dual Compressor, which Starkey describes as the first of its kind in a hearing aid. Compression is how a hearing aid makes quiet sounds audible without making loud sounds uncomfortable. This feature uses speech detection to blend fast and slow compression. In Starkey’s own study, all participants reported fewer sound artefacts, and most preferred its sound quality.

Omega AI Plus also brings DNN 360 directionality to rechargeable custom ITC R and ITE R models (in-the-canal and in-the-ear styles made to fit your ear), and at the 24 level adds the option to keep Edge Mode (Starkey’s on-demand boost for difficult listening situations) switched on all the time. According to Starkey, the RIC RT gives up to 51 hours of battery life.

Starkey G Series AI hearing aids - Current

The Starkey G Series AI range is one of Starkey’s newest launches for 2026, and the first range to sit below Omega AI Plus and Omega AI as an accessible, mid-range alternative rather than a previous-generation flagship.

It uses Starkey's Friendly AI directionality, which works out the listening environment and adjusts automatically, the same underlying principle as Omega AI, without the most advanced (and most expensive) processing. Available in two styles, RIC (Receiver-in-Canal) and BTE (Behind-the-Ear), it supports Bluetooth streaming and the My Starkey app throughout.

Starkey Omega AI hearing aids - Current

Launched in 2025, the Starkey Omega AI range combines advanced intelligence with real-world practicality. It features DNN 360, which Starkey describes as the world’s first deep-neural-network directionality system.

Starkey states that it analyses 80 million sound data points per hour to anticipate what you need to hear. It is powered by the G3 Neuro Processor and is designed to deliver clearer, more natural speech in noisy settings.

Available in RIC RT, mini RIC RT, ITC RT and ITE RT styles (rechargeable receiver-in-canal, smaller receiver-in-canal, in-the-canal and in-the-ear), Omega AI offers, according to Starkey, up to 51 hours of battery life, full IP68 waterproofing, and health tracking. Now that Omega AI Plus has arrived, Omega AI offers much of the same technology at a lower price.

Starkey Signature Series hearing aids - Current

Launched in April 2024, the Signature Series hearing aids are the 2nd generation of Genesis AI, with the addition of motion-based optimisation and automated Edge Mode+; at launch, Starkey described them as its smallest devices yet.

Once activated, using an optional push button, Edge Mode+ now operates automatically.  It seamlessly transitions into a mode where it continuously scans, adapts, and optimises hearing based on changes in the surrounding listening environment.
