Overview

Widex's 2026 line-up centres on two ranges: the Allure, their most significant launch in years, and the SmartRIC, a slimmer, design-led alternative. Both are available now in the UK, across several performance levels. Widex has also recently added Clarity Boost, an on-demand AI mode, to the Allure line-up. Widex Allure hearing aids:  Latest range

Launched in March 2025, the Widex Allure hearing aid range is widely regarded as Widex's most significant release in several years, built on an entirely new W1 chip with Precision Hearing Technology.

The standout feature is 0.5ms ZeroDelay processing, which Widex states delivers crystal-clear, distortion-free sound through the Allure PureSound program. Widex states this has improved speech intelligibility in noise by 4.3dB, which in practical terms means picking out more of what's said in a busy room without that slight, unnatural "processed" quality some hearing aids have.

Speech Enhancer Pro is Widex's system for separating speech from background noise. The Enhanced Sound Classifier automatically adapts across 11 different listening environments, so the aids adjust themselves as you move from a quiet room into somewhere busier.

Widex has also recently added Clarity Boost to the Allure range, via a new Allure AI RIC model. It's an on-demand AI mode designed for noisy situations, restaurants, family gatherings, and busy conversation, using a separate dedicated chip alongside the standard Allure processing, so the everyday Allure sound stays the same until you switch it on. It's confirmed available at the 440 and 330 technology levels, for an additional £50 per aid.

Available in Receiver-in-Canal (RIC), Behind-the-Ear (BTE), and In-the-Ear (ITE) styles, all Allure models feature rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, Bluetooth LE Audio connectivity with hands-free calling, and the intuitive Widex Allure App with AI-powered personalisation features.

Widex SmartRIC hearing aids:  Current range

Widex launched the SmartRIC hearing aid range in April 2024 with a new slim L-shaped Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing solution.  Powered by the Moment platform chip, this design includes microphones that are placed in such a way that it improves your directionality and focus - especially in speech targeting. 

With SmartRIC hearing aids, Widex is rethinking the way in which sound is captured within a hearing aid.  This should effectively offer you an even more natural sound with access to the voices and sounds you want to hear and better focus where you need it the most.
