Hearing Aid Retailer Amplifon Win Award

Amplifon, a large retailer of hearing aids in the UK, have won the UK Italy Business Award.

The Italian group received the award early this week in the “brand strategy” category, during the awards ceremony at the headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange.

The award, now in its fourth edition, is given by the British Government and the UK Trade & Investment to Italian companies which have chosen to develop their business in the United Kingdom and which have excelled in their reference category.

Amplifon have previously won the prestigious prizes which include the “Ruban d’Honneur” in the Customer Focus category of the European Business Awards 2010 competition; the Good Design Award 2009 awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design; as well as the Urban Studies and the International Design Excellence Award 2009.

The UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the British Government organization responsible for the international commerce development and provides assistance to foreign companies doing business in the United Kingdom, helping them achieving their full growth potential.
