In 2019, one of the main high-street hearing care centres, Boots Hearing Care, started selling the AudioNova D and T Range of hearing aids. This isn't a new product launch as such, the technology has been around a while. This is essentially a Boots "own brand" hearing aid that isn't sold anywhere else and therefore can't be price compared. Hidden Hearing is the second or third largest hearing aid retailer in the UK. They have around 80 branches and employ about 200 hearing aid dispensers. Their head office is in Maidstone, Kent.

Scrivens are an opticians established in 1938, owned and run by brothers Mark and Nicholas Georgevic. They moved into supplying hearing aids in the 1950s, then later re-branded the hearing aid side of the business as “The Hearing Company”. They now own M&S hearing aids and M&S Opticians.

Inside sources have revealed to us today that Amplifon are pulling out of Scotland. We have also been informed that the retailer Hidden Hearing will be taking over their client base and possibly their stores. When more information becomes available then we will update this page.
