Phonak offers a wide range of hearing aids that cater to all types of hearing loss. Their cutting-edge technology and various features help individuals navigate life despite of their hearing impairments.
In this article, we will take a brief look into the Phonak digital hearing aid launches throughout 2024 and beyond. We will be updating this content as and when new products are available in the UK market from Phonak.
Launched in November 2023, and the newest addition to the Lumity line, Audeo Fit Lumity hearing aids (2nd generation), are an innovation equipped with a heart rate sensor that seamlessly monitors your body's health metrics.
Accessible through the myPhonak app, this feature enables the tracking and synchronisation of vital health data, including calories burned, heart rate, and activity levels.
Phonak Slim hearing aids, launched in May 2023, were an aesthetically streamlined addition to the Lumity platform. The ergonomic shape (7° angle) of this model is contoured naturally to the curve of your head which leaves more room behind your ears - offering all day comfort.
Ideal for people who wear glasses, oxygen, or a mask - this hearing aid is designed to be seen!
Phonak had an influx of hearing aid launches in late 2022 Here is the breakdown of each one below.
Coming only a few months after their last major product launch (Audeo Life and Audeo Fit) and replacing some of those newly released products, this launch was rather unexpected.
These digital hearing aids are very similar in appearance to the previous range, the Phonak Paradise platform. Apart from a few minor features, they are close to identical. The chip and all of the hardware are the same as what is in Paradise.
In our opinion, these changes should have just been a free software update to the current Paradise models, rather than being introduced as a new model.
As well as featuring the Life model - the second generation of the world’s first waterproof rechargeable hearing solution - they also incorporate Health and data tracking capabilities. Phonak Life offers several features to help improve sound quality and clarity, such as directional microphones and noise reduction technology.
In addition, the Phonak Audeo Lumity hearing aids are designed to adapt to the wearer's listening environment and preferences, resulting in a personalised hearing experience.
The Phonak Audeo Life hearing aids a completely new hearing aid, with a new outer case that has specifically designed microphone ports. The key highlight here though is that it is waterproof. Life hearing aids can be submerged in around 1.64 feet of either fresh, salt, or pool water.
Therefore, Audeo Life gives you the confidence that your hearing aid, no matter the conditions, will always provide optimum hearing performance and connectivity. You can also gain Health Data Tracking features.
This means you can access health performance indicators like counting your steps, showing you your activity levels, and gaining access to set your own health goals for better well-being and overall health.
With Phonak Audeo Fit hearing aids, Phonak has developed a hearing solution that balances better hearing (vital for good well-being and cognitive health), Paradise technology features, universal connectivity, and health tracking to allow for greater insights on well-being and to support overall health in the future.
Even though Phonak is not the first hearing aid manufacturer to offer a 'healthable' hearing solution (Starkey Livio introduced this concept), it is the first digital hearing aid to provide a heart rate sensor.
Phonak Paradise hearing aids are now available in their popular Virto line of custom-made hearing aids, which includes their extra discreet Titanium model. In all honesty, Phonak was due a new ITE custom-made hearing aid style and we predict these additional styles will be accepted well by consumers.

Then in winter 2021, the ActiveVent was launched - an advanced speaker technology that's compatible with rechargeable Paradise models.
In August 2020, Phonak launched their Paradise hearing aid range, making several beneficial improvements since the Marvel was released. Considering the Phonak Virto B, Phonak Black, or Phonak B-Titanium hearing aids? Here, at Hearing Aid UK, we pride ourselves on being completely transparent with our prices, services and above all relaying the right information about all our models to our customers. For instance, when a hearing aid is superseded, we make sure this is clear to everyone.
It is an important part of what we do, and we want to help you make the right decision on what hearing device is the best for you and your hearing loss. If a hearing aid has been superseded it means that there is a more technologically advanced option that might provide you with a better hearing solution - depending on what your priorities are.
Well, in truth, we wanted to clarify this as you might have been offered a discount on the Phonak Virto-B, Virto Black, and Virto B-Titanium models – and this is about to be superseded by the new Virto Paradise we mentioned earlier. In short, the provider is trying to sell through their older models to make way for the new, more advanced version.
Unfortunately, this is quite common practice for some audiology retailers on the high street. This untrustworthy service is not fair to you, as a consumer. We do not advise investing in old technology. Always ask the audiologist if the model you are being shown is the latest on the market.
So, what does the new Naida bring to the table? In brief, when launched, it will be the first superpower hearing aid with universal Bluetooth capability - featuring Marvel 2.0 technology and Roger Direct connection. Offering power users multifunctional features, powerful sound, and direct connection to their favourite Bluetooth devices.
Like the Virto Black, you can gain from the flexibility of streaming into both hearing aids at the same time for a clearer sound that is 10 times more natural (using a Roger Pen). You can also use your Roger microphones to assist speech understanding in noise and over distance.
