Phonak Slim hearing aids are designed with lifestyle and comfort in mind

Phonak Slim was launched as a more streamlined hearing aid addition to the Lumity platform in May 2023. Leaving more room behind your ears, as the ergonomic shape (7° angle) is contoured naturally to the curve of your head – ideal for people who wear glasses, oxygen, or a mask. 

As these devices incorporate Lumity technology they will offer SmartSpeech and Speech Enhancer technology for speech understanding and reduced listening effort as well as health data tracking via the myPhonak app.  More on Phonak Slim's main features and benefits below.

Phonak Slim hearing aid's performance levels

Phonak Slim hearing aids are available in the usual four technology levels, which are: L90, L70, L50, and L30.

• Phonak Slim L90 hearing aids:  The Phonak Audeo Lumity Slim L90-R hearing aids include 20 fine-tuning channels, 9 automatic programs, and Speech Enhancer.  L90 is the premium performance level giving you dynamic noise cancellation and better listening in the car, plus a feature that switches listening focus to speech automatically.

• Phonak Slim L70 hearing aids:  Includes 20 fine-tuning channels and 8 automatic programs.  This level should be ideal for those who like to spend time in small groups with moderate background noise.

• Phonak Slim L50 hearing aids:  Includes 16 fine-tuning channels and 4 additional automatic programs.  They also incorporate Speech and Comfort in Noise features.
• Phonak Slim L30 hearing aids:  Includes 14 fine-tuning channels and 4 additional automatic programs. They also incorporate Speech and Comfort in Noise features.

Phonak Slim's main features include:

StereoZoom 2.0

This feature reduces the tiredness and fatigue of trying to focus on a conversation can give you.  It adapts the strength of focus as the noise level increases.  There is an option to adjust the focus strength in real time using the Speech Focus setting in the myPhonak app.  With StereoZoom 2.0, you will also get a 2.5 dB better signal-to-noise ratio.

SpeechSensor

This feature is an algorithm that detects and understands the direction of where the main speech signal is coming from.  This means you will always benefit from 15% better speech understanding and 11% reduced listening effort from behind or at the side of you.
