The Resound Savi 3 is the higher-performing tier in Resound's new Savi range, sitting above the entry-level Savi 2 and offering a genuinely impressive feature set for its price point.
As the model that effectively supersedes the Resound Key, the Savi 3 brings together dependable, accurate sound processing with some of the most exciting connectivity features currently available in the essential hearing aid category, including Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio.
If you want modern technology without paying premium prices, the Savi 3 makes a compelling case for itself. It won't have the deep AI-driven processing of Resound's flagship Vivia range, but for the majority of everyday listening situations, it delivers clear, natural sound with far fewer compromises than you might expect at this level.
Whether you're following a conversation in a noisy bar, streaming a podcast on your commute, or picking up a public audio broadcast at the theatre, the Savi 3 is built to keep up with your day.
More processing channels for a more accurate fit. The Savi 3 has 12 processing channels compared to 10 in the Savi 2. This might sound technical, but in practice, it means your audiologist can fine-tune the amplification across a wider range of frequencies, giving you a more precise and comfortable fit for your particular hearing loss.
Autoscope Adaptive Directionality. This is one of the features that really sets the Savi 3 apart. The hearing aids automatically detect where speech is coming from and adjust their focus accordingly, so you're always picking up the voice you want to hear, even if it's not directly in front of you.
Adjustable Directional Mix. You and your audiologist can tweak the balance between directional and all-around sound to suit your preferences and lifestyle. It's a level of personalisation you won't find in the Savi 2.
Impulse Noise Protection. Sudden sharp sounds – a door slamming, a dropped plate, a passing bus – are automatically softened before they reach your ears. A small detail that makes a big difference to everyday comfort.
Music Mode. If you enjoy music, this matters. Standard hearing aid processing isn't designed with music in mind, and without it, instruments can sound flat or unnatural. Music Mode adjusts the processing to preserve the richness and dynamics of what you're listening to.
Smart background noise management. The Savi 3 uses NoiseTracker II, DFS Ultra III (for feedback suppression), and Wind Guard to automatically handle the listening environments most likely to cause problems – busy spaces, outdoors, and reverberant rooms. It's all working quietly in the background, so you don't have to think about it.
Built for everyday life. With a full IP68 rating and nano-coating protection, the Savi 3 handles moisture, dust, and daily wear without complaint.
The Savi 3 is the first essential-range hearing aid to support both Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio, and it's hard to overstate what a difference this makes.
You can stream audio and take hands-free calls directly through the Resound Smart 3D app. But the standout feature is Auracast – the ability to connect to public audio broadcasts in theatres, airports, cinemas, lecture halls, and anywhere else using compatible Auracast transmitters.
The integrated Auracast Assistant in the Smart 3D app makes connecting as simple as a single tap, even if your phone doesn't yet have Auracast built in. It's the kind of connectivity that was previously reserved for much more expensive hearing aids.
The Savi 3 is available across all five Savi form factors, so you can choose the style that suits your hearing loss, lifestyle, and preferences:
Both models share the same physical styles, connectivity features, and core sound processing technology. The Savi 3 steps things up with:
If you spend a lot of time in varied or challenging listening environments, or if music is important to you, the Savi 3 is likely to be worth the additional investment. Your audiologist can talk you through which level is the better fit for your lifestyle and budget.
The Savi 3 is available in contemporary colours with a subtle shimmer finish:
Multi Mic: Extends your hearing range by up to 25 metres. Works as a table microphone for group conversations, connects to loop and FM systems, and includes a mini-jack input to plug in your phone or tablet directly.
Micro Mic: Same as the Multi Mic, without the mini-jack input.
TV Streamer: Sends stereo sound directly from your TV, stereo, or computer straight to your hearing aids.
Remote Control: A simple, reliable way to adjust your hearing aids without using your phone.
The Resound Savi 3 is worth considering if you:
Our audiologists can help you work out whether the Resound Savi 3 is the right fit for your hearing needs and lifestyle. We don't push particular brands or models – we focus on finding what actually works for you. If the Savi 3 looks right on paper, we can arrange a consultation, local clinic visit, or home visit to take things from there.

Not only are the prices great, but the service is fantastic! Many thanks to your team.In general, any audiologist will always recommend to you the hearing aid model that best suits your needs. Here is a useful checklist to make sure that is the case.
Generally speaking, six or more. Unless it's none at all. The number of channels a hearing aid has is often a simplistic way an audiologist will use to explain why one hearing aid is better than another, but channels are complex, and it is really not that straightforward. Here are some reasons why:
Hearing aids amplify sounds of different frequencies by different amounts. Most people have lost more high frequencies than low, and therefore need more amplification in the high frequencies. The range of sounds you hear is split into frequency bands or channels, and the hearing aids are set to provide the right amount of hearing at each frequency level.
Less than six channels, and this cannot be done with much accuracy, so six is the magic number. However, a six-channel aid is typically very basic with few other features and is suitable only for hearing a single speaker in a quiet room. The number of channels is not what you should be looking at; it's more the rest of the technology that comes with them.
As a final note, different manufacturers have different approaches. One method is not necessarily better than any other. For example, some manufacturers have as many as 64 channels in their top aids. Most tend to have between 17 and 20. One manufacturer has no channels at all.
