A brief history of Signia hearing aids

Signia, Siemens, Sivantos...it's all quite confusing. Originally, Siemens made mediocre hearing aids. In 2015, Sivantos bought the hearing aid division of Siemens. Two years later, the name Siemens was dropped, and the brand is now called Signia. The technology is now excellent.

Sivantos Group, the parent firm of Signia, has a legacy going back to 1878 when Werner von Siemens developed an enhanced telephone receiver after seeing that some with hearing loss had difficulty understanding on the phone.

The Siemens brand has been renowned throughout its history for producing high-quality hearing technologies.
